SHIFT is a 3-day regional conference at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship for and by young adult church leaders. The mission is to challenge, motivate and equip a new generation of effective leaders through partnership. I spoke on a panel of leaders to challenge both church and city leadership to work more closely together to build up our communities, centering the dialogue around practical tools necessary for the holistic development of the “total community” to be inclusive, collaborative, and responsive to the needs of the entire community especially those most marginalized including seniors, families and youth.
